OpenNote AI is designed as a local-first notes, recording, document, handwriting, and AI assistant app. AI features are designed to run on your device when available.
OpenNote AI does not send your notes, documents, PDFs, recordings, handwriting, transcripts, prompts, or AI conversations to third-party AI services.

Model Downloads
OpenNote AI may allow you to download optional local AI model files from configured model file hosting sources, such as Hugging Face, ModelScope, GitHub Releases, or another configured download source.
These hosts are used only to download model files. Download speed and availability can vary by country, network provider, device storage, and hosting provider.
Model file hosts may receive standard network information, such as IP address, request time, and requested file URL. OpenNote AI does not send your notes, documents, recordings, handwriting, transcripts, prompts, or AI conversations to these model file hosts.
Subscriptions
OpenNote Plus and Pro subscriptions are managed by Apple through the App Store. To manage or cancel a subscription, open the Settings app on your device, tap your Apple ID, then tap Subscriptions.
If your subscription status does not appear correctly in OpenNote AI, open the subscription page in the app and tap Restore Purchases.
Account Deletion
If you created or signed in to an OpenNote AI account, you can delete your account directly inside the app:
Settings > Account > Delete Account
Account deletion is handled inside the app. You do not need to email support to initiate account deletion. You may still contact support if you need help understanding the process.
